The Linear Walk is a disused railway line with an easy walking track.

The Linear walk is at Bingham, just inside the Vale of Belvoir on the Nottinghamshire/Leicestershire border.

This walk is a dog safe walk. It runs along side farmers fields but there is no livestock in the fields, only a few horses on the far end of the walk.Bingham is easily accessible from the main A52 and there are some great pubs in the village, for information on which ones to visit please see: The Bells Web Site

The far end of the Linear walk is quite overgrown but it can be made through to the next village, however you are much better of turning round and walking back the way you came or taking the diversion across the path leading across the farmers field and calling in for a drink at the local pub.

The Horse and Plough, in Bingham is a great stopping place. There is ample street parking available for cars and it does make a great walk for the dogs because of the lack of livestock.
